Testing one two three

There is a Robbie Burns poem that explains, "the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry."
So goes our best laid plans.

Chilling out at home, doing our final packing for our trip, with our flight leaving at 5. Mellissa is in the shower, and I get a text from KLM saying our flight was canceled. Our travel agent made some switches and told us we were rescheduled to leave at 3. So speed it up.

So I go for a shower, and as I'm getting out I hear the new plan from our travel agency. Now we're leaving at 1:30, which means we must scramble out of the house in order to get our flight. So we scramble to the airport only to find out the flight is delayed.

But we do get to The Netherlands eventually. And we are greeted by fantastic weather, and of course the beautiful quaint town of Delft that is out home base for the next few days. All is well. Until.

Until it is time to go to bed, and lo and behold, our room is awash in voices and yelling of drinking and partying folks who sound like they are right in our apartment. And they don;t stop drinking or yelling until 530 am. Same with night number two. So now, at 740 pm on Sunday we are all relaxed in our place, and we wonder. Will we sleep tonight and break the three night cycle of little to non sleep? Time will tell!
