Classic Gary Numan.
I've been MIA on the music side of things lately. There is an impending trip to Europe on the horizon as well as work and other commitments that seem to keep me from my guitar(s). But not to worry. There are a few things brewing in the back of my head.

One thing I'm obsessed with is learning to play keyboards. I'd like to purchase a keyboard for my recording projects. Here's what I'm thinking. The M-Audio Keystation 49. It is cheap, about $100 or so, and plugs right into my M-Box. I am also wanting to get studio monitors so I can mix the songs right instead of headphones. It means I will start to do something quite a bit different musically. Synthesizer. Drum machines. Fun vocals. My inspiration is my old obsession with Gary Numan. Now I want to make some music for myself. It may mean I put down a guitar for a while. For all of you out there wondering what in the world to get me for my birthday in April might I suggest a keyboard and studio monitors. And underwear. I need some of those too.

The two best engineered concerts I have ever seen were both performances by Gary Numan.

I write songs to amuse myself and as my own form of therapy. I have an album called UnSung available on iTunes
